Picture
The development of the guidelines demanded significant amount of resources in order to achieve the project objectives in this task. A number of tasks should be completed in order to implement the national fixed NEST such as:

• Definition of the application and sources to be offered in the NEST according to the target groups to be addressed.
• Development of requirements on the technical issues, the actions to be implemented, the procedures that are being developed.
• Survey for suppliers of equipment, request offers, compare prices.
• Fundraising, sponsors, co-funding opportunities.
• Purchasing a number of technologically advanced equipment for demonstrating road safety: driving simulator, seat belt sledge, roll over simulator, special scales for demonstrating force during collision, alcohol goggles that simulate vision after alcohol consumption, children’s seat training car cabin.
• Purchasing teleconference facilities, presentation projector etc.
• Securing a proper public space (if not available already) with 250-300m2 for hosting the NEST and install the equipment.
• Training of personnel and volunteers for using the equipment and operating the service.
• Train personnel and volunteers for supporting events.
• Develop plan of visitor hosting, planning of functioning hours.
• Start functioning the NEST and hosting visitors.
