Local Fixed NESTs
In the second year of the AVENUE project the NEST in Drachten has gradually grown to THE reference centre for road safety in the province of Fryslân. Primarily because the NEST is the home from which all our main partners operate. Secondary because of the practical education activities who take place on the training centre itself. Third because of the increasing awareness of the NEST among the Frisian population.
The site and the offices are accessible on working days from 8 till 18 hours. Depending the planned activities the site and accommodation are open on evening hours and Saturdays. In exceptional cases on Sundays.
Citizens are following trainings on the training centre (on the training centre and in the conference rooms in the accommodation building). Both, ROF and cooperation partners, are using the offices and conference rooms for meetings and consultations.
